Our team
Dr. Therese Krahnstöver serves as Managing Director, coordinating the activities of Pilot Blue. She holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Process Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, and earned her PhD in Switzerland focusing on innovative technologies for municipal and industrial water treatment.
Over the course of her career, Therese has developed and tested technologies from the research stage through pilot projects to full commercial implementation. Her work is characterized by strong analytical capabilities, a solution-oriented approach, and strategic thinking. In 2019, she joined Isle Utilities as a Business Developer and Senior Consultant. In this role, she supported start-ups in product development and strategic market entry, while advising end users on the data-driven selection of critical technologies.
From 2022 onward, she served as Managing Director of Isle Utilities Germany. Her work increasingly focused on identifying innovative start-ups, conducting technical due diligence, and providing strategic portfolio guidance to investors.

For many years, he has served as a jury member of Switzerland’s largest start-up accelerator and, through this work, has developed a strong conviction in the significant global potential of environmental technologies.

Christopher is a process engineer working at the environmental sciences institute of ETH Zurich, where he focuses on the sustainability assessment of industrial processes. He advises Pilot Blue with a particular emphasis on databases and life cycle assessments.

Jörg has a deep know how of manufacturing and logistics in European and Asian markets, wich particular experience in the energy and water business. With his strong international network, he supports Pilot Blue and our clients in sales and business development.
